Dim Sum House is a cute little timber box of a tenancy, compacted with dim sums, dumplings, baos and buns. The domestic interior pairs perfectly with the comfort food to create visual and olfactory senses of familiarity.
The whirring of ceiling fan in the background reminisces the relaxed afternoons spent in a 1960s flat in Hong Kong, where cane rocking chairs nestle against patterned tiled walls in the living room.
